CUSTOM BUILT PACKERS
The HLP range of machines can be adapted to accommodate a wide variety of customer requirements. For example, unusual pack blank designs and quantities of collations of cigarettes, or the introduction of coupons or inserts. All CME packers are available with PLC Control Systems.

CME has rationalised the machine design; simplifying the machine construction, eliminating redundant components and up-grading mechanical drives.
Machine throughput and efficiency has been increased by easing foil bundle preparation, improving quality control of pack formation and simplifying machine settings.

SIMPLER SIZE CHANGING
CME has rationalised size and part changing in its range of Hinged Lid Packers. Although savings in time and cost depend on the complexity of changes involved, the overall savings achieved are considerable, when compared to conventional machinery.
The 300 Hinged Lid Packer has been designed to satisfy today's need for a cost effective machine producing a high quality product at speeds up to and in excess of 300 packs per minute.
Well-proven operating principles have been enhanced with the introduction of advanced mechanical and electrical technology. These developments mean that CME can provide competitively-priced machines which produce a high quality product and are simple to operate and maintain.

TWIN TRACK FOIL BUNDLE MANUFACTURE
With each track producing 150 foil bundles per minute, cigarette end damage is virtually eliminated, and tobacco shorts accumulation is minimised.

WASTE MANAGEMENT
Unique features have been incorporated to achieve significant reductions in waste. The modular construction allows sequential start-up and stopping.

ADHESIVE APPLICATION
The machine can be supplied with a high speed solenoid, dot firing adhesive system which offers superior operational benefits including increased flexibility, more economic adhesive usage and cleanliness.
