Anti Counterfeiting Policy
Colin Mear Engineering Limited (CME) has always recognised that counterfeiting is a serious problem to the world wide cigarette industry.
CME's policy is simple; it will be as vigilant as possible to protect the integrity of those organisations or individuals operating correctly in the cigarette industry. At CME we have a pro-active approach and will do everything we can to guard against dealing with counterfeiters and, like other suppliers to the cigarette industry, we have established an 'anti-counterfeiting policy.
If a potential new customer approaches CME for cigarette equipment, spares or any form of support, CME will require positive proof that the company is a legitimate entity, with a government license to produce tobacco products.
If we obtain information or believe that one of our customers is involved in any counterfeiting activity or illegal operations we may cease all supplies and services to that customer.
CME's normal trading supply terms and conditions have clauses covering the above policy to which all our customers must comply.
